Today’s reflection is from Rose Kurtz, the Manager of Guest Services at the Center. Normally, Rose can be seen around our Welcome Center or in her office, assisting guests with all of their needs. She can’t wait to be able to welcome everyone back to the Center soon! Let’s take a moment to quiet ourselves and pray with her…sillouette hands

During this time of social distancing and pretty much any time, I hold the words of St. Teresa of Avila in my heart.

Christ has no body now but yours.

No hands, no feet on earth but yours.

Yours are the eyes through which he looks compassion on this world.

Yours are the feet with which he walks to do good.

Yours are the hands through which he blesses all the world.

Yours are the hands, yours are the feet, yours are the eyes, you are his body.

Christ has no body now on earth but yours.

We are truly God’s presence to those we encounter! It is through even the smaller moments that God’s love and compassion can be witnessed to by our actions and words. May we be aware of our opportunity to be God’s hands and feet to each other.    ~Rose
