The Bon Secours Retreat & Conference Center is honored to host ultra-marathoner and Discovery Channel show survivalist, Adam Kimble, for an inspiring day retreat. Adam will share about his physical feats and how we can all achieve anything through our connection to God. The day will also include a Question & Answer time with guests.
Achieving the Impossible with Christ
During this retreat, Adam will explore the concept that anything is possible when you put your faith and trust in God, pursue your callings, and persevere through the tough challenges and obstacles that could prevent you from making your dreams a reality. If you are motivated to succeed, you will always find success. Sometimes the Lord’s plan is different than our own, and we have to re-align our goals so that success ends up looking differently than we originally envisioned. So long as we trust His perfect plan and eternal love for each and every one of us, He will take us on a journey filled with joy and success beyond our wildest imaginations.
Adam Kimble is an ultramarathoner and motivational speaker from Tahoe City, CA. He previously spent three years as an Event Director in Chicago, planning festivals and events with up to 75,000 participants. After recognizing his calling was not in event planning, he took a leap of faith and followed his passion for travel, spending a year traveling internationally with his wife, Karen. Upon their return to the US, Adam’s life-trajectory was completely altered and he resolved to pursue ultrarunning and motivational speaking full-time.
In April of 2016, Adam finished a journey of 2,500 miles over the course of 60 days to cross the USA on foot. Subsequently, in November of 2016, he successfully completed a 60-day journey alone in the wilderness of South America on Discovery Channel’s survivalist show, The Wheel. In July 2017, he completed a 31-day, 1,050-mile journey self-supported on foot across Great Britain (Scotland, England and Wales). Adam now has a mission to share what he has learned and help others grow in their vocational journey so as to push through the ceiling and achieve their ‘impossible.’
