Becoming a Healing Presence *Commuter option

February 17 @ 6:00 pm - February 19 @ 1:00 pm

healing, God, compassion, care of others

Every day we’re called to tend life beyond ourselves. Whether it’s with family, friends, in the workplace, social or religious organizations, or community life – we’re called to go beyond our individual wants and needs.  This workshop will help you answer that call and transform your care and compassion into effective action.

By the end of the weekend you’ll have a greater capacity to:

  • Experience life as sacred and whole.
  • Reduce unnecessary suffering in your own life and the lives of others.
  • Embody new ways of being, doing, and speaking that will move life forward in any domain.
  • Resolve opposition and create peace both within and without.
  • Experience the gifts, capacities, and qualities of the seasons in yourself.

You’ll take home dozens of new practices you can immediately apply in your life.  By being more mindful of the choices you make in the world, you’ll experience greater possibilities in your life and the life you share with others. Guided by Tom Balles and Allyson Jones.

This workshop is co-sponsored by Maryland Chapter National Association of Social Workers and includes 10.25 NASW-MD CEUs. Also, 10 NCCAOM PDA’s approved for acupuncturists. Provider No. 166490.

For the best weekend workshop experience, we encourage you to sign up for the overnight option instead, but we understand that this may not be an option for some guests. Please arrive by 6pm for dinner and the workshop will begin after dinner at 7pm on Friday. Please note that in addition to the program during the day on Saturday, there is also an evening session after dinner. The workshop will end with lunch on Sunday. Lodging and breakfast is not included with this option.
