Life in the Risen Lord
We gather this day in the season of Easter to reflect on the joy, hope and promise of the Resurrection and to remember how the risen Lord has been present and walked with us in the challenges, opportunities and stories of our lives. Everybody has a story. How do our stories connect with the Easter story?
Jesus has promised us abundant life (John 10:10). How do these words invite us to explore our relationship with God and our neighbor in a more life-giving way? Come away for the day and celebrate the presence of God in your story.
Our Friends Day of Prayer retreats are held monthly on the first Wednesday of the month. Everyone is welcome to attend and you can drop into any month. It’s not required to attend every retreat. Everyone will gather for coffee and pastries for the first half hour. Fr. Jim will give a morning presentation, followed by Mass in the chapel, a delicious lunch, and then he will give an afternoon presentation. Free time will be offered to walk the labyrinth, spend quiet time in prayer or shop in the bookstore.
