Sharing in the Joy of Love in Marriage and in Family
Msgr. James Lockman will lead our June Friends Day of Prayer. Our Friends Day of Prayer retreats are held monthly on the first Wednesday of the month. Everyone is welcome to attend and you can drop into any month. It’s not required to attend every month. Fr. James will give a morning presentation based on the theme above, followed by Mass in the chapel, a delicious lunch, and an afternoon presentation. Free time will be offered to walk the labyrinth, spend quiet time in prayer or shop in the bookstore.
This event was previously advertised as being guided by Fr. Matt Buening, but he is no longer able to attend. We are pleased to have Fr. James filling in for this retreat!
Msgr. V. James Lockman was born and raised in Ireland. He was ordained in 1967 for the Archdiocese of Washington. He then served in six parishes as vicar and pastor. In 2005, Fr. James was honored by Sr. John Paul II as “Chaplain to his Holiness.” He retired in 2014 but continues to help in a few parishes.
