Good Grief: Good Choices
Psychotherapist and Bereavement Counselor, Annie Hisle offers uplifting spiritual practices that are helpful in dealing with the inevitable losses we face on our life journey. Annie believes that Losing and Finding are complementary to each other and fundamental to life. Significant loss or significant perceived loss leads most of us into shock, into the underneathness of life. It is in these depths that we question what really matters, learn some lessons , and are often willing to choose new practices, new behaviors, new attitudes.
Helpful, healing practices will be discussed. Stories, poems, prayers, quotes will be shared. Lunch is also included.
Our grief retreats are held quarterly and include presentations, group dialogue, time for quiet reflection and grief exercises. The day is designed to provide tools for coping while grieving the loss of a loved one.
