Healing Our World One Person at a Time:

Discovering How God’s Love Transforms Ourselves, Our Families, Our Communities and Our World

Your task is not to seek for love, but merely to seek and find all the barriers within yourself that you have built against it. ~Rumi

God’s love is a gift. God’s love is transformational. God’s love is healing. We go through life seeking this love: first with our parents, our relatives, our friends and then to mates. We were created this way, formed in the image and likeness of God who is LOVE.  John speaks of this love in 1 John 4:16 when he states, “And so we know and rely on the love God has for us. God is love. Whoever lives in love, lives in God, and God in them.”

To allow this love to transform us, we must face our own fears and brokenness. Our woundedness can create barriers to love.

God’s transformational work and our cooperation happens in holy places. Our Center provides just that:  quiet places, sacred spaces and a supportive, loving community.

love is the greatest healer

Kathy Anderson and Susan Boruff will present this 4-night summer retreat that explores how God’s love can transform the world.

Join us this summer as we dive deep within. We will safely and mindfully commit to identifying our barriers to love. We will cultivate silence and holy moments. We will also use the following prayer practices: meditation, journaling, art, poetry, dance, movement, play, mantras and breathwork. This will help us to purposefully, soulfully and most important, lovingly, create for ourselves a new way of seeing and being; a way toward wholeness and healing.

Author and motivational speaker, Matt Kelly, says, “Transforming people one at a time is at the heart of God’s plan for the world. It is also essential to developing dynamic marriages, loving families, vibrant Christian communities, thriving businesses and economies, and extraordinary schools and nations.”

According to Episcopal priest, Tilden Edwards, “It is in a deep place of prayer where this transformation of consciousness occurs- we move out of our own egos, fears, divisions and into the wholeness that God hopes for our world.”

Are you willing to let God transform you?

In addition to presentation and group dialogue, there will be time for personal reflection. Your retreat leaders, Kathy Anderson and Susan Boruff, both spiritual directors, will be available for individual appointments too.
