“Writing is a spiritual practice in that people who have no spiritual path can undertake it, and as they write, they begin to wake up to a larger connection….we should write because humans are spiritual beings and writing is a powerful form of prayer and meditation…that brings clarity and passion to the act of living.” ~Julia Cameron, Author of “The Artist’s Way”
In her work as a nurse, massage therapist and artist, Michelle Lisenbee has come to believe that when we intentionally cultivate connections with God, with others and with our own beautiful souls, space is created for movement toward wholeness. She will lead this workshop because she believe connection is where healing happens. Throughout her life, journaling has been a doorway to this connection. Michelle believes in its power and it remains her most constant self-care practice. In this interactive and reflective workshop, we’ll explore various journaling techniques and practices together. All levels of experience are welcome. Small journals and pens will be provided for use during the workshop but feel free to bring your own if you prefer.
