Living in the Present Moment
This retreat will focus on living in the present moment – finding God, who is present in the here and now. We cannot realize or fully understand this truth with our minds only. But we can know this truth when the mind is still… when we are present, fully and intensely, in the NOW. Retreatants will be helped to see prayer as a relationship and to identify the obstacles that hinder the discovery of the richness of God’s life within them, thus regaining an awareness of “being” and abiding in God’s presence within. Balance of life, work and human relationships, in our busy lives today is sometimes hard to do. We will explore the easiest way for each participant to relate to God.
There will be two presentations each day and the opportunity to meet with the facilitator upon request. Bring with you an open heart, one that wants to be in relationship with a God who loves you unconditionally, who says “I hold you in the palm of my hand”, “You are precious in my eyes”, “ You are fearfully, wonderfully made”, “ I love you”. Presented by Sr. Carol Marozzi. This will be a silent retreat. Check-in begins at 3pm. Dinner will be served at 6pm and the retreat will begin at 7pm.
