Take some time to celebrate the diverse heritage of the Mystics in our daily lives! Join us for a delicious lunch and dialogue as we explore their personal biographies and the incredible contributions they have made to contemporary spirituality and intentional living. In this gathering, we will specifically consider both Native American and Celtic mysticism, their overlapping and diverging principles, and certain notable figures who embody each tradition’s rich teachings.
Grounding our encounter with these mystics in our personal experiences, we will respond to writing prompts to access our unique voice and deepen our respective journeys. Particularly, we will envision how Native American and Celtic mysticism speak to each other and to our experience of living through the pandemic. Additional time for reflection through prayer and meditation with opportunities for application through creative exercises and dialogue will also be integrated. Prior familiarity with these traditions is not mandatory, but welcomed. Please bring along a journal for use throughout the program. Guided by Gordon Creamer.
