Join us for a weekend that will focus on slowing down, paying attention to living in the present and practicing prayer without words. We will also have a session about the Enneagram, an ancient tool to guide you in self discovery and spiritual growth. This retreat about mindfulness and centering prayer will include presentations, group discussions and time for personal reflection. Guided by Marcia McMullin.
Check-in begins at 3pm. Dinner is served at 6pm and then the retreat will begin after dinner.
Marcia McMullin works at Carroll Hospital as the Coordinator for the Center for Breast Health. She received her bachelor’s of nursing degree at Stevenson University and her master’s in Spiritual Formation and Leadership from Spring Arbor University, Spring Arbor, MI. Marcia has worked at Carroll Hospital for 15 years in the Education, Hospice, and Palliative Care. She has frequently served as a retreat facilitator at at our Center and speaks on numerous topics including Spirituality and Health, Be Compassionate to your Sorrows, Caring for the Caregiver and Soul Care & Spiritual Practices. Marcia notes from her own spiritual journey and journeys she observes in others that there are simple ways to find rest, refreshment, and renewal regardless of age or station in life. Marcia has lived in Westminster, MD for the past 28 years with her husband. She has four adult children and four grandchildren.
