The Stations of the Cross is a prayer that commemorates Jesus Christ’s last day on Earth as a man in 14 stations. Each station helps us recall and meditate on a specific event of Christ’s last day, beginning with His condemnation and ending with the burial of his body. The stations are commonly used as a mini pilgrimage, with the individual moving from station to station.
In this retreat you will have an opportunity to meditate on at least one specific station. You will also creatively make your own prayer and an image for the station upon your personal reflection. Artistic or creative writing abilities are not necessary. Ideas and resources will be provided.
We invite all to join us in creating a more meaningful and grateful Lenten season through the stations of the Cross each Friday in March. Guided by Sr. Ji Choi.
Guests are welcome to attend one or all four mini-retreats! A different station can be the focus of each week. Please register for each one that you plan to attend and call 410-442-3120 if you need to cancel for any reason.
