Telling the Easter Story – Death to Resurrection
“We remember how you loved us to your death
And still we celebrate for you are with us here.
And we believe that we will see you
When you come, in your glory, Lord.
We remember, we celebrate, we believe.”
These words from the refrain of the song “We Remember,” capture what we do in the Triduum. In celebrating Jesus’ journey from death to life, we both remember and recognize that the journey of Jesus is the journey of every believer. During these sacred days, we are invited to see how we are being called from darkness to light, from death to resurrection. In telling the Easter story, we find hope and direction for our lives.
This special period of prayer, liturgy and presentations will lead us from Holy Thursday through Easter Sunday. Retreat in the quiet of our overnight accommodations. Enjoy the beautiful grounds, labyrinth and peace garden at our Center as you journey through these final days of Lent. This retreat will be guided by Fr. Jim McBurney with assistance from Nancy Santamaria. The retreat will begin with an orientation session at 4:30pm. This is a silent retreat. Dinner & lunch each day of the retreat is included. Lodging and breakfast is not included with this commuter option.
