Join us on Valentine’s Day at the Retreat and Conference Center for special dinner and an evening sharing stories of love. Rev. Stephen Wade and Molly Wade will guide an open and participatory conversation highlighting the amazing diversity of ways in which love shows up in the human family. Rev. Stephen will also offer reflections on some of the Lifelong Lessons for Living that are embedded in Christian marriage liturgies, and the evening will conclude and an informal Reaffirmation of Marriage Vows.
Enjoy a celebratory dinner, prepared by our distinguished chefs, including your choice of: surf & turf, seafood, chicken or vegetarian. A variety of beverages will be available, including wine, and a delicious dessert will also be served. Then, Rev. Stephen and Molly will share their presentation.
For more than half of his 50-year career as an Episcopal priest, Rev. Stephen Wade has counted Bon Secours as a steady point on his compass for ministry. And even while pursuing a distinguished professional career of her own, Molly Wade has never been far from Steve’s side, and has touched–and been touched by–the graces of Bon Secours during those years as well. Now retired and living in Middleburg, Virginia, new variations on life-long career themes have emerged for the Wades: Molly in church and community work, and in training the historic Wolver-Beagles at Middleburg; Stephen in Retreat Leadership and Spiritual Direction in a variety of settings including the Retreat & Conference Center. The Wades share life and love at a distance with three grown daughters, one son-in-law and two grandsons, and ore proximally with Sophie, a contemplative Beagle who–miraculously–seldom barks.
You won’t want to miss this annual special event at the Bon Secours Retreat and Conference Center as we celebrate Valentine’s Day!
The price for the evening is $90 per couple.
