Present with Purpose
Be where you are, otherwise you will miss your life. ~Buddha
Throughout our lives our busyness becomes our purpose. Our commitments and “shoulds” overshadow our deeper call to meaning. This weekend will give us time to explore the importance of being present to our purpose and to one another through all of life’s phases. There will be opportunities for practices of mindfulness and putting purpose to paper.
Plan to have fun, relax, learn, and make new connections at this annual Women’s Wellness Retreat. Feature presentation on Saturday and Sunday morning by Andrea Springer.
Thursday and Friday:
This early arrival option begins with check-in as early as 3pm on Thursday, so that you can have an extra day to unwind. We will have a prayer gathering after dinner on Thursday. On Friday, you’ll have free time and time to walk around the Center’s beautiful grounds.
After your relaxing day on Friday, our regular weekend guests will check in and then we’ll all gather together for dinner. After dinner we’ll have a fun, social time of games and laughter.
Saturday begins with a feature presentation by Andrea Springer. Then, you will have a choice of three out of nine workshops to attend throughout the day. Workshops will include choices of spiritual, artistic and physical topics such as prayer, crafts and yoga. (You will be emailed a list of choices a few weeks before the retreat.) Saturday evening will be a time of socializing, crafts and a movie.
On Sunday, Andrea will close the weekend with a special presentation and you’ll have time to attend an optional Mass or relax before lunch. Guests will depart after lunch.
You won’t want to miss this special annual retreat. Many guests return year after year and we welcome new guests too!
